Ukraine's General Staff published its daily update on Russian losses, saying Russian forces suffered 1,470 soldiers killed and wounded over the previous 24 hours, alongside losses of equipment. The figures are issued daily by Kyiv and cannot be independently verified; Moscow does not publish comparable data. The same daily report recorded 222 combat clashes along the front line over the past day, with the heaviest Russian pressure on the Kostiantynivka sector of Donetsk Oblast, where Ukrainian defenders said they repelled 29 assaults. Fighting was also reported on other eastern axes. The concentration of attacks around Kostiantynivka is consistent with Russian efforts to advance toward the remaining Ukrainian-held urban belt in Donetsk Oblast.
